In rare of its kind situation, the Peetadhipathis of renowned Adi Shankaracharya Peethas, Sri Vidusekhara Bharati Mahaswami of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sri Sadanand Saraswati Mahaswami of Dwaraka Peetham and Sri Avimukteswarananda Mahaswami of Jyothir Mutt united at the Param Dharm Sansad (Supreme Religious Council).
On this great unique occasion, Sri Swamijis issued Dharmadesh (religious directives) comprised of a 27-point declaration.

The Dharmadesh covered various aspects of safeguarding Hindu culture and Sanatan Dharma in every way. Key highlights of the 27-point directive include:
- Recognize Cow as ‘Rashtramata’ (The Mother of Nation) and make stringent measures to stop cow slaughter and make it a punishable offense.
- Promote Sanskrit and allocate government budgets to promote Sanskrit education, given its prominence and contribution to advancements across the world.
- Save rivers as a collective effort
- Encourage religious education for Hindus as fundamental right and establish temple and Hindu symbols in every school
- Protect all Hindu establishments like Temples, etc.
The Dharmadesh or religious directives call for national unity, social harmony by means of safeguarding Sanatan Dharma and upholding Hindu Dharmic principles.
Speaking on the occassion, Shankaracharyas have lauded the way Yogi-led UP government is taking measures to protect Hindu Dharma.

Noteworthy, Yogi Adityanath has then and there announced the implementation of these Dharmadesh directives in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Maha Kumbh 2025 has been in news since the time it began in January 2nd week and is lasting until Feb 26, 2025. The Maha Kumbh is witnessing crores of pilgrims coming to take holy dip in Triveni Sangham.
The great union of renowned Shankaracharyas adds to the greatness and significance of Maha Kumbh 2025.
