After Ayodhya victory and Varanasi Gyan Vapi Majsid issue, the BJP Government is now actively focusing on Sambhal Jama Masjid.

It all began with Harishankar and Vishnu Jain from nearby Chandosi District requesting the District Court  for enquiry about the presence of Hindu temple under Jama Masjid in Sambhal.

Upon the Chandosi District Court orders, the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) conducted a two-day survey on November 19 and 24, 2024 and submitted a 45-page report to the district court.

The report, proofs of video and photos, included the footages of thousands of Hindu temple structures including idols, etc, under the disputed Shahi Jama Masjid.

The report also found two wells, two big Banyan trees, lotus carvings & paintings and structures of Hindu Gods on the walls of the  Masjid and were found to be have been covered with paintings and cement.

During the second day of the survey, a mob with weapons and guns have reportedly attacked the ASI personnel and police personnel guarding the survey.

The police have identified those mobs and published their faces in the media. legally cable and electricity connections was found around the Masjid area and the power bill debt totals to around Rs. 6 crore.
