Yes, the massive movement to free Hindu temples from all clutches including the government control begins in the name of ‘Haindava Shankharavam’!

For decades, this has been the slogan of many Hindu groups, associations and in fact, the ask of the entire Hindu Community.

While religious institutions of other religions like Islam, Christianity and others have been independent, Hindu temples are always government control.

What’s more annoying is unjustified control of Hundi collections and diverting them to other non-hindu or other activities out of temple purview!

What’s more disturbing is the negligent approach of governments in acting against the attacks on Hindu idols and temple structures!

There are many such deeply disrespecting situations that have hurt Hindus and Hindu sentiments over the period.

But that cant be the case anymore, says Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), a famous Hindu organization working for Hindu community and its welfare since decades.

It’s time to free Hindu temples from government or any other control and give them the power of self-governance.

It’s time Hindu Temples be the assets of Hindu community itself and run as guided by the respected Hindu religious gurus, authorities and with only Hindu community staff.

It’s time Archakas/priests at every Hindu temple be given the due respect and considered with high regard in terms of pay-scales or other support, given their role in regular functioning of Hindu temples.

Lot many are in the making to ensure to safeguard Hindu temples and make them self-dependent!

On An End Note,

This call for the massive Hindu movement is coming at a time when the serious call to safeguard Sanatana Dharma is also being discussed and debated across the nation.

Needless to say, Andha Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan needs a special mention in this regard as he is the one who stood up strong for Sanatana Dharma in the recent times triggering the discussion on the same across Bharat.
