Updated.!
Seems the attacks on Hinduism, Hindus, and its culture & traditional has become the most common thing!
Seems the world has taken this for granted! The so-called pseudo-secularists, human rights organizations and influential spokespersons and personalities hardly speak about this!
This has come to debate again with the recent incidents in Bangladesh where a Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu was arrested on the charges of sedition.
A Wave of Attacks on Hindus
The Hindu community in Bangladesh is minority and has been facing backlash by the new government headed by Muhammed Yunus.
After the erstwhile government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh Hindu community has suffered big time.
Reportedly, many politically-motivated attacks have been made on Hindu organizations, residences, businesses and places of worship.
In of its report on attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs stated that more than 75 incidents of murder, looting, arson and heinous crimes against women have taken place in Bangladesh as of Aug 2024.
As per the report on Novemeber 28, 2024, a total of 408 incidents of desecration and damages to Hindu temples have been reported.
On Nov 01, 2024, thousands of Hindu community members walked onto roads raising protests against these attacks urging the interim government to protect them.
Around 30,000 Hindus have demonstrated protests against thousands of attacks against Hindu members reported since Aug 2024 in the southeastern city Chattogram.
Major move in this wave was the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu!
Free Hindu Minorities: Pawan Kalyan
The way Chimoy Prabhu was treated and arrested is seriously debated all across.
When India could treat even a terrorist like Kasab properly, why aren’t Hindus (constituting 8% of Bangladeshi population) being ill-treated in Bangladesh?
This shows a deep negligence towards Hindu community there. What’s surprising is this is happening despite the Government of India’s serious appeals to Bangladesh Government to handle this matter with utmost priority.
Popular Indian actor-turned politician and Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan questioned this injustice and called upon the Indian Hindu community and the global Hindu community to speak upon this and raises their voice against the same.
He explained that minorities are minorities everywhere, like Muslims here are the Hindus there. How are minorities in India being treated and how about the minorities in Bangladesh? This shows a clear injustice he questioned!
He called upon everyone to take this matter very seriously and said everyone has to talk about this, especially, the pseudo-secularists, human rights organizations and similar organizations who usually want to stand up for minority rights.
Pawan Kalyan raised a serious concern that Chinmoy Prabhu was denied legal assistance and faces no access to free and fair trial.
Stating that the very idea of fair trial-a universal human right- is denied to Chinmoy Prabhu, Pawan Kalyan questioned the pseudo secualrists, human rights organizations, and the world leaders for not talking against this injustice caused to Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu.
“India showed the world what true justice looks like—even for a terrorist. It is now time for the global community to rise above selective activism and speak up for those like Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu, who are denied their most basic rights. Justice is not justice if it is selective. The world must act now, for the soul of humanity depends on it, ” reads Pawan Kalyan’s tweet calling upon the global Hindu community and the global community as a whole to raise theie voice and support.
Pawan Kalyan has been the strong voice of Sanatana Dharma in the recent times and is currently trending in India for his fight against injustice against Sanathan Dharma. He had also called for the constitution of Sanatana Dharma Parirakshana Board to ensure justice for Sanatana Dharma and Hindu community.
