Hindu Temples and Hindu spiritual institutions have been facing this pressure since decades!
There has been a debate on this matter as to why Hindu temples are under government control when the same of other religions like Islam and Christianity, etc are not!
The answer to this question is quite simple, utter silence since years together. None spoke on this behalf and it remained suppressed!
But not the case anymore, as we have a person, in fact a personality, speaking, debating and discussing on this!
It’s Pawan Kalyan, the actor-turned politician, Janasena Party Chief and the current Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Breaking the political limitations and subsequent fear of votes, Pawan Kalyan takes no back step in demanding that Hindu Temples should be out of government control and should literally in the hands of the Hindu community and its heading spiritual institutions.
He says that so questioning, “why isn’t the scenario same for the spiritual establishments of other religions and why only Hindu Temples?”
In the name of secularism, Hinduism is being taken for granted and no government dares to do the same with other religions. Because they know what happens if done, adds Pawan.
Clean Up and Revamp Administration!
In light of this debate, the Deputy CM backed a recent decision by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board to revamp temple administration by removing all non-Hindu employees.

Yes, its has to be for several reasons, Pawan says, adding that its not just about religious conflict.
In a neutral Sanatani approach, Pawan Kalyan explains that a non-Hindu staff working in a Hindu organization, unknowingly or knowingly, does some violation and questioned on the same might turn into a religious conflict rather than the organzational issue.
In such a case, not having non-relevant staff is a good decision. Same will be the case in other religious institutions like Islam. They strictly won’t have non-Islam part of their functioning, so why can’t Hindu institutions do the same?
Pawan Kalyan also slammed at the illegal grabbing of the Tirumala temple lands for years.
He also cited the Sabarimala issue and the government/judicial intervention on the same for a demand as to why women cant enter garbhagruh of the main temple.
In this matter, Pawan Kalyan says, yes every temple is unique in itself and will have its own rules to follow. That can’t be debated by governance level, that’s upto the respective religious institutions, he adds.
On an End Note,
Yes what Pawan Kalyan advocates is absolutely true.
