Pawan Kalyan To the Nation: Laddu Prasad Adulteration Tip of Iceberg, Safeguard Sanatana Dharma!

Intro: The Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan proposed a 7-point Varahi Declaration to safeguard the Sanatana Dharma

The row over ‘adulteration of Tirumala Laddu with animal fat and other cheap material’ is still on rage… seems it will continue to be!

The Honorable Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh State Shri K Pawan Kalyan (PK) had reacted enough on this matter.

He had also observed a 11-day Deeksha on this unsacred Act happened with the Laddu Prasadam of Tirumala Venkateshwara Swamy Temple during the erstwhile the state government under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

But that isn’t enough it seems as he had to come back again more strongly to address the whole nation this time, on the side of Sanatana Dharma.

In a recent large public gathering in Tirupati, titled Varahi Sabha, the AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan called out the entire nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to wake up in the light of this Tirumala Laddu Adulteration issue.

“Tirumala Laddu adulteration is the tip of an icerberg and there is much beyond happening as a direct attack on Sanatana Dharma in Tirumala and elsewhere. Everyone has to act upon it,” Pawan Kalyan said addressing the whole nation including the national media.

He striked out strongly that some pseudo intellectuals and pseudo secularists are blaming and trying to put him down for standing firm against this unlawful act hurting Sanatana Dharma sentiments and making it a national issue.

‘I’m an Unapologetic Sanatani Hindu’

Citing the words of eminent jurist and constitutional expert Nani Phalkivala “Law is codified Dharma”, Pawan Kalyan said Santhan Dharma that respects all religions has been under attack in the name of pseudo secularism.

Swasti Prajabhyah Paripalayantaam
Nyayena Margena Jana Rajya Tantrah
Subhamastu Pasu Pakshi Keetebhyah
Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu

Reading out the above Sanskrit saying, Pawan Kalyan explained that Sanatana Dharma always calls for wellbeing of not just humans, everyone and everything in this world under the concept of Vasudaika Kutumbakam. But that was disrespected in many occasions, he added.

If that comes to other religions like Islam or Christianity, all supreme institutions like Supreme Court and leaders speak in humanitarian grounds. But that’s not been the case for Santana Dharma.

The popular Sanskrit saying Ramo Vigrahavan Dharmah describes Shri Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu as the true embodiment of Dharma. Unfortunately, when the same Rama was abused and disrespected in many occasions, hardly any law-making bodies,  political parties, leaders or personalities voiced against such unlawfulness.

Now, the Kaliyug incarnation of same Lord Vishnu Shri Venkateshwara Swamy is being disrespected in many ways in Tirumala.

If the same disrespect for other religions happen, everyone comes in support. But when it comes to Sanatana Dharma, the so-called leaders, institutions and pseudo secualrists either call for patience and term that as religious intolerance or ridiculous if voiced against.

“This is the fate that an average Sanatani Hindu has to face in the land of Bharat. How can we be silent? We can’t! I’m telling this to the so-called pseudo secularists and intellectuals. If practising Sanatana Dharma is a sin, then I make my stand very clear. I’m an unapologetic Sanatani Hindu,” said Pawan Kalyan.

Pointing at many incidents and political plays that tried to put down the same, Pawan Kalyan voiced in his style that he can go to any extent in the matter of safeguarding Dharma and won’t step back even to loose anything from his political position to life in entirety.

Pawan Kalyan raised up strong against the  recent comments by Tamilnadu Deputy CM and actor Udayanidhi Stalin who said ‘Sanatana Dharma is a virus and needs to be wiped out”.

To that, Pawan Kalyan said, “Anyone doing to do this will get wiped away and reminded the actor to be away from such statements.”

He continued further citing the vibrant and thought-provoking words of famous poets, revolutionaries, social activists, etc that summarize the greatness of Bharateeya Sanatana Dharma and the need to safeguard the same.

The 7-Point Varahi Declaration

Reiterating that Sanatana Dharma respects all religions and calls for the wellbeing of everyone and everything, the AP Deputy CM proposed the ‘7-point Varahi Declaration’ to safeguard Sanatana Dharma, which included:

1. Secularism must be upheld in a manner that ensures uniform response to any threat or harm caused to any religion or faith

2. A strong national Act is required to protect Sanatana Dharma and prevent actions that harm its beliefs. This Act should be enacted immediately and uniformly enforced across the nation.

3. A ‘Sanatana Dharma Protection Board’ should be established at both the Central and State levels to oversee the implementation of the Act.

4. Annual funds must be allocated to support the Board and its activities.

5. There should be non-cooperation to individuals or organizations that defame or spread hatred against Sanatana Dharma.

6. Sanatana Dharma Certification must be implemented to ensure the purity of materials used in offerings and prasadams across all Bharat temples.

7. Temples should evolve, not only as spiritual centres or Adhyatmika Kendras, but also centres for promoting arts & culture, education, economy, environmental conservation and welfare with comprehensive planning.

Not just Laddu Adulteration: PK to SC

Pawan Kalyan didn’t stop there and questioned the Supreme Court on its recent comments that indicated at no signs of adulteration of Tirumala Laddu Prasadam.

It’s not just about the Laddu Prasadam adulteration, in fact its about the continuous violation of sanctity at Tirumala in the last decade. If you are giving the judgment on this matter, then this is my argument,” said Pawan Kalyan countering the apex court’s comments.

He went on to say that the TTD Board led by YV Subba Reddy under the CM ship of ex-CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has done blatant mistakes.

“For instance, under the name of Srivani Trust, the Board collected Rs 10,000 for Darshan from many individuals but gave the receipt for Rs. 500. Likewise, there are crores of rupees the TTD Board under the erstwhile AP government would have had collected….Thats why I say that Laddu adulteration is the tip of an iceberg. All these need to be investigated before the final judgment,” Pawan Kalyan said in his address to the Supreme Court.

The Deputy CM further added that he has raised red flag many times on the issues at TTD Board in the last decade, and his government has no need to make any deviations from development through this issue, as there is already a progress in the last 100 days of functioning.

“I want to make it clear to the entire nation. We have issues with the Board under the leadership of the erstwhile government under Jagan Mohan Reddy who himself is facing trials in many pending cases. We have been raising red flags. If national media wants, we are ready to give it. But don’t confine this matter to Laddu adulteration. There is lot beyond.” Pawan Kalyan stated in his open public speech.

He requested the apex court to take all these points into consideration in the process of judging this case.

In Conclusion

The Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan also referred to the case of Kesavanand Bharati, a Mutt Head in Kasargod district of Kerala, that shook the nation on grounds of the violation of fundamental rights.

Likewise, there are many instances that neglected the voice of Sanatana Dharma. Now, its not just about food adulteration, its much beyond about the attack on Sanatana Dharma, he concluded citing a famous telugu poem by Seshendra Sarma, which reads,
