Here we are talking about one of the oldest abodes of Lord Vishnu. Known as Paalakondaraya, Vishnu is worshipped in his another form Narasimha Swamy.
Located in the deep forest area of Kadapa District, this temple history dates back to hindreds of centuries. Priests of the place believe that Lord Vishnu has first stepped here on this hill before going to Tirumala. For that reason for many years, devotees travelled to Tirumala starting from this place after offering prayers to the Paalakondaraya, the main deity here.










Apart from the spiritual significance, the place is known for its scenic beauty because of its lust green forest area. The travel to this place is a wonderful trek journey surrounded by waterfalls, natural ponds, many medicinal trees & plants, etc.
It is also believed that this forest is known as a home to some of the world’s rare, unknown and many endangered species of birds, animals and many other forest beings.
One can reach this place easily from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, South India.
