Yes you read it right! Days after the Ram Lalla Praan Pratishta in Ayodhya, the buzz now is all around Gyan Vapi Mosque in Varanasi.
It all began with The Archeological Survey Of India detailed report on the disputed place of mosque beside Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
The ASI published a detailed report on this issue with hundreds of proofs that prove this was once Hindu Temple.
The report clearly mentions there are 8 Shiv Lings, 2 old idols of Nandi and many other idols of around 400 in number under the mosque beside Kashi Vishwanath Mandir.
This issue has taken a new turn with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditya Nath himself responding on this report.
In a podcast interview with a national media, Yogi said. Yogi says, “It would be adispute if Gyan Vapi is called a mosque, which is not actually given the proofs and evidences submitted by the Archeological department.”
Yogi continues to question the interviewee in his own sarcastic yet serious style, “if Hindu idols were placed under the mosque was constructed over the centuries-old Hindu Temple there?”.
In this context, there appears a new high across media and the country about the Government of India further action on this issue.
Will this see another Ayodhya kind of judgement? If so, will this happen before or post the national-level elections due in April 2024.
Lets wait to see what unfolds about this Gyanvaapi Issue in Varanasi!
